Odin Support

Odin is a study planner and private tutor for students. It plans your studying around your calendar: add what's coming up and it splits the work into sessions in your free time, so you're ready on time.

Calendars

How do I connect Google Calendar or Outlook? Profile › Your week › Connect, or step 2 of setup. Tap Google Calendar or Outlook & Teams, sign in and allow read-only access.

Will Teams meetings and Gmail invites show up? Yes. Teams meetings are in your Outlook calendar and Gmail invites are in your Google Calendar, so connecting those covers them.

My work Outlook won't connect. Some workplaces and schools block third-party apps. Ask your IT team to approve Odin, or add the account in iPhone Settings › Apps › Calendar › Calendar Accounts, then connect "This iPhone's calendars" in Odin.

Google says the app isn't verified. This can appear while Google is still reviewing Odin. Tap Advanced, then Continue. Odin only ever reads your calendar.

How do I disconnect a calendar? Profile › Your week › Manage, tap Connected, then Disconnect. You can also remove access at myaccount.google.com/permissions (Google) or account.live.com/consent/Manage (Microsoft).

I use Yahoo, Proton, Fastmail or another calendar. Tap Other calendar and paste the calendar's iCal / ICS link (in your calendar's settings, often called "Subscribe", "Share" or "secret address").

Does Odin change my calendar? No. It only reads events to find your free time and spot deadlines.

Planning

How do I add something? Type it in the "Add anything" bar on Today, e.g. "Essay 3h Friday". Odin reads the length and the date and plans it.

A day has too much on it. Tap Fix on Today, raise your daily maximum in Profile, or change your hours in Profile › Your week.

Odin says I have no free time. Your calendar or busy times fill your hours that day. Change your hours in Profile › Your week.

How do I add a deadline from an email or PDF? In Mail, Gmail, Files or Photos, tap Share › Odin. Odin finds the dates and suggests items to add.

School sync and your tutor

How does School sync work? Today › School sync. Pick your school's site, sign in yourself, then tap Start sync. Odin goes through your classes and finds every test, assignment, study guide and grade, then you choose what to add.

Is my password safe? Yes. You type it into your school's own page; Odin never sees or stores it, and it never types into anything.

Can Odin submit or change anything? No. It only reads, and it won't click anything that submits, posts, deletes or changes something.

My school uses a site that isn't listed. Type its address into the box on the School sync screen.

Subscriptions

How do I cancel? iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Odin › Cancel Subscription.

I subscribed on another device. Profile › Restore purchases.

How do I get a refund? Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your data

Everything stays on your iPhone. To erase it, use Profile › Delete all data. See the privacy policy and terms of use.
